Job summary

Saf-Gard Safety Shoe Company is seeking a Warehouse Specialist in Newark, DE. This full-time role supports stocking, pulling inventory, and shipping product to internal locations and partners, primarily moving products between internal warehouses and distribution points.

The position requires experience in warehouse environments, accuracy, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and palletizing. WMS familiarity is a plus, with a fast-paced team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse roles and distribution environments.
• Able to perform order picking, stocking, and shipping/receiving tasks.
• Fast-paced distribution center experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail for inventory accuracy and quality control.
• Ability to lift, stack, and palletize in a physically active role.
• WMS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stocking (Inbound & Warehouse Operations).
• Receive and unload incoming shipments (loading dock operations).
• Stock product into warehouse aisles and maintain inventory locations.
• Consolidate and reorganize aisles for efficiency and accuracy.
• Follow daily direction from team leads on stocking priorities.
• Support general warehouse operations and stock replenishment.
• Pulling (Outbound Internal Distribution) based on priority orders.
• Support high-priority order fulfillment with team.
• Prepare outbound shipments for other Saf-Gard locations.
• Print and manage labels for outbound shipments (WMS).
• Stage product for shipment and ensure correct order accuracy.
• Wrap and palletize outbound product for transport.
