The Tailored Closet & PremierGarage of Greater Washington DC is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join our production team in Chantilly, VA. This full-time role supports receiving, staging, and loading materials, with hands-on woodworking and early-morning duties to prep for installations.

You'll read part lists, manage inventory, operate a forklift, and keep a clean, safe workspace while coordinating with the Warehouse Manager and Production Manager. Competitive wages and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be process- and task-oriented with high energy for early start.
• Prior woodworking, cabinetry, or carpentry experience.
• Forklift certification is ideal.
• Regularly lift large boards and heavy material (~50-80+ lbs).
• Maintain an orderly, clean and organized workspace.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Warehouse receiving, quality checking and inventory experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret parts lists, cut lists, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Work with the warehouse and production managers to prep jobs in priority and on time.
• Read, review, and clarify parts lists and contracts.
• Arrive early to receive, unload, and stage deliveries each morning.
• Receive materials, inspect against BOM, and manage returns.
• Build and assemble components using shop machinery following specs.
• Unload, inspect and prep cabinets, panels, and hardware for jobs.
• Safely drive forklift to move palletized loads; forklift cert ideal.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized; follow processes and report issues.
• Assist with stock/inventory management and product picking up for customers.
