Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a PRN Supply Chain Associate to manage par cart inventories, pick and deliver supplies, and support clinical staff with timely replenishments.

You will work day shifts on-site, utilize ERP and MS Office tools, and maintain accurate records to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient hospital supply chain.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; 1 year of work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in English; clear communication with clinicians.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook; basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with an ERP system and inventory concepts.

Responsibilities

• Handles returns following established guidelines and updates par levels as needed.
• Establishes relations with clinicians to ensure supply chain collaboration.
• Creates requisitions for non-stock supplies as needed.

Job Description:

Performs daily par cart inventories, picks orders, confirms orders, and delivers supplies to assigned par areas. Picks up return items following established guidelines. Provides feedback on par level adjustments to supply chain and clinical leadership. Establishes effective relationships with clinicians in assigned areas to ensure collaboration between clinical departments and supply chain. Creates requisitions for non-stock supplies as needed in assigned par areas. Ensures par areas are orderly, properly tagged, and sufficiently stocked to meet customer needs. Properly disburses all materials to various locations in the facility as assigned in a timely manner following any established route and schedule. Gives special attention to refrigerated supplies and overnight packages. Maintains warehouse and other assigned areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner. Accurately completes the replenishment/picking process, including all associated computer software tasks to ensure accurate record keeping. Delivers supplies and packages to customers, ensuring location delivery information is obtained. Assists with updating item locations and labels associated with product conversions. Other duties as assigned.
