Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Specialist at Fort Benning CIIP to verify, store, and ship materials, while maintaining inventory records and using forklifts. You will work in a structured warehouse with routine safety protocols and 1st shift hours, Monday through Friday.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, pass background checks and drug screening, and be eligible for a Public Trust clearance and CAC. Strong teamwork, reliability, and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass standard background check.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must have valid REAL ID State Driver's License with no restrictions.
• Must obtain/maintain NACI Tier 1 Public Trust.
• Must obtain/maintain CAC.
• Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship (birth certificate or passport).
• Must maintain driving privileges aboard Fort Benning Installation.

Responsibilities

Working at the Fort Benning Clothing Intital Issue Point (CIIP), the Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties included, but not limited to, verifying materials or merchandise against receiving documents; receives, stores, stacks, or palletizes materials, and removes material from storage and prepares it for shipping.

Major Job Activities

• Verifies material and merchandise against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
• Routes material and equipment to prescribed storage locations.
• Properly stores, stacks or palletizes materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
• Rearranges as necessary and takes inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage.
• Removes material from storage and prepares it for shipment.
• Establishes and maintains stock records and other documents such as inventory, material control, accounting and supply reports.
• Assists in taking inventories through physical count and records item count on inventory documents.
• Operating and maintaining forklifts and MHE related equipment.
• May operate hand or power tools in performance of warehousing duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.
• Job duties and responsibilities may change due to contractual requirements.

Working Environment

• Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as protective mask, safety vest, steel or composite shoes/boots, safety gloves, hard hat and eyewear in certain areas.
• Work will typically be in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
• There may be times when an employee is exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions.
• Regular Work Schedule: 1st shift, Monday - Friday (40 hours) 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Physical Activities

• Must be able to lift a maximum of 40 pounds.
• Must be able to operate in a warehouse and outdoor type environment.
• Must be able to walk on uneven ground and within work various sites and withstand prolonged periods of standing for 6-8 hours a day in performance of duties.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass the standard background check.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
• Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.
• Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Benning Installation.

Skills/Experience

• Four (4) years or more experience in warehouse operations.
• Four (4) years or more experience in driving and operating forklifts.
• Possess high ethical standards and demonstrate professionalism.
• Ability to work independently or in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.
• Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
