Overview

Join JK Moving Services, the largest independent mover in North America, as a Warehouse Specialist! In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly through organizational excellence, administrative activities, and warehouse logistics.
This is a primarily afternoon shift opportunity (starting at 1:00 PM and ending around 10:00 PM) - ideal for those who prefer a later start to their day.

No prior warehouse or forklift experience? No problem! We provide training - although prior experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform a mix of administrative and warehouse functions, ensuring accurate handling of materials, equipment, and inventories.

• Read and follow schedules, customer orders, shipping documents, and requisitions.

• Move, sort, and organize shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.

• Work at heights using harnesses and follow strict safety protocols.

• Load, unload, and prepare materials and office equipment for delivery or storage.

• Maintain organized and clean warehouse spaces according to best practices.

• Complete requisition forms to order necessary supplies and ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must.

• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds regularly.

• Comfortable working at heights with safety equipment (harness).

• Experience with forklifts and pallet jacks preferred (but certification is not required - we will train you!).

• Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, moving, or related industries is a strong plus.

• Must be a quick learner, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude toward customer service.
