American Furniture Rental (AFR) is looking for a Warehouse Specialist at our location in Lakewood, WA.

Basic Function

Responsible for performing all duties related to incoming and outgoing merchandise during the warehouse’s first shift of operation.

Responsibilities
  • Unload/load trucks using a scan gun.
  • Compare driver’s paperwork to NAV.
  • Check NAV to ensure all has been collected – if not, search offload.
  • Post all collections and deliveries.
  • Confirm all paperwork and pickups via Logistics Dashboard.
  • Touch up and reclassify merchandise in the warehouse.
  • Lift, carry, and place products into and out of racks.
  • Inspect merchandise for damages or breakage prior to shipment or warehouse storage.
  • Record all merchandise discrepancies on appropriate paperwork.
  • Complete inventory preparation for warehouse stock.
  • Stage merchandise to prepare for shipment as needed.
  • Fill customer orders in accordance with Pick Tickets, complete appropriate paperwork, and place a copy with the merchandise for shipment.
  • Scan all orders and print pre-shipment paperwork as appropriate.
  • Operate forklift, pallet jack, and hand trucks.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly workplace.
  • Sweep up and remove/dispose of debris.
  • Follow safety procedures and report dangerous conditions immediately.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
