The incumbent is responsible for performing a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. The duties will be accomplished as described in accordance with DoD and DON logistic procedures, standard operating procedures, and applicable local regulatory requirements.
Work is performed indoors and outdoors. Outdoor work is subject to temperature extremes and inclement weather conditions. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear to understand instructions, provide information and respond to safety warnings. Work conditions require the
employee to stand; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; smell; and work on scaffolding and ladders. The employee may frequently lift and/or move objects weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance and lift and/or move heavier objects with assistance.
