Job summary

Cox Manufacturing is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate to support shipping/receiving, inventory accuracy, and material handling in our San Antonio, Texas facility.

You will maintain documentation, organize the warehouse, manage waste streams, and uphold safety standards while collaborating with a team. Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Execute shipping/receiving with accurate documentation and timing.
  • Receive, inspect, and move incoming materials safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and location tracking.
  • Manage waste/scrap processing per quality and environmental standards.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safety-compliant.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute the shipping/receiving process accurately, ensuring correct quantities, documentation, and timing on all inbound and outbound shipments
  • Receive, inspect, and handle incoming materials, staging and moving them safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse
  • Maintain accurate inventory, including counts, organization, and location tracking
  • Manage the waste/scrap processing streams, including scrap recycle handling, in line with quality and environmental standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant warehouse

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred; forklift certification a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with basic math skills for inventory counts and documentation
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work well in a team environment
