Job summary

Air Centers of Florida is seeking a dependable Warehouse Specialist to support our air compressor and generator operations. You will manage inventory, shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and warehouse organization to ensure customers receive the right parts at the right time.

In this hands-on role you will work in a fast-paced environment, stay organized, and collaborate with the sales, service, and parts teams while adhering to safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Basic computer proficiency and MS Office.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Customer service mindset and teamwork.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate forklift (or willingness to become certified).

Responsibilities

  • Receive, verify, and stock incoming parts and materials.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Process outgoing shipments and freight deliveries.
  • Manage inventory by organizing, labeling, storing, and tracking parts.
  • Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory control activities.
  • Transfer parts to other branch locations as needed.
  • Replenish truck inventory for field service operations.
  • Maintain records and review invoices.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklifts, pallet jacks).
  • Ensure a clean, safe warehouse environment per policies.

Job Summary

We're seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Specialist to play a key role in supporting our air compressor and generator operations. In this hands-on position, you'll help ensure our customers receive the right parts at the right time by managing inventory, shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and warehouse organization.

Essential Job Functions
Warehouse Operations
  • Receive, verify, and stock incoming parts and materials
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
  • Process outgoing shipments and freight deliveries
  • Manage inventory by organizing, labeling, storing, and tracking parts
  • Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory control activities
  • Transfer parts to other branch locations as needed
  • Replenish truck inventory for field service operations
  • Maintain accurate records and review receiving documentation and invoices
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures
Customer & Team Support
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve parts-related issues
  • Perform local parts deliveries and pickups when required
  • Collaborate with the sales, service, and parts teams to support daily operations
  • Assist with special projects and additional job duties as assigned
Required Experience
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (including physical and work environment)
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic math skills for calculating quantities, totals, and sales tax
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift or willingness to become certified
  • Customer service mindset with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
