Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to manage inbound material operations, SAP workflows, and coordination with 3PLs to support plasma production. This role interfaces with Warehouse Operators, Supervisors, and Managers to ensure timely inventory and production readiness.

The ideal candidate has a background in supply chain management (bachelor's or associate with experience) and is proficient with MS Office, SAP, Logic, and MES, with ability to meet cGMP and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, SCM or related field.
• Associate degree in business, SCM with a minimum of 4 years supply chain management.
• GED/ High School Equivalent with a minimum of 8 years supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inbound material flow under direct supervision, keep databases, and ensure safety of stored items.
• Perform SAP functions including goods receipts, inventory cycle counts, stock put-aways, transfers and troubleshooting.
• Process daily raw plasma receipts with physical and electronic receipt, allocation, and staging in SAP, Logic, and MES.
• Coordinate inbound replenishment shipments to maintain production inventory levels; communicate with 3PLs.
• Coordinate inbound deliveries with outside carriers and the Purchasing department.
• Monitor incoming contractor packages and assist warehouse operators with site deliveries.
• Complete manufacturing cost center orders and goods issues.
• Assist warehouse operators when orders are picked and dispensed to manufacturing.
• Prepare and review outbound documentation for customers.
• Serve as liaison on system requirements during logistics setup and implementation.
• Support supervisors and managers on additional warehouse tasks.

Job description

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the daily functions of the department, as they relate to inbound deliveries, associated manufacturing orders, and inventory tasks. The Warehouse Specialist will work directly with Warehouse Operators, Supervisors, Managers, and other Warehouse Specialists to ensure the department continues to meet internal customer, business, and patient needs. This position has no direct reports, the Warehouse Specialist reports to the Warehouse Receiving Manager with a dotted line to the Warehouse Supervisors.

Exposure to various temperatures, hazardous chemicals and potential bloodborne pathogens. May occasionally lift carry, and/ or otherwise move items weighing up to 50 pounds. May be required to work weekends, overtime and extended hours to support production demands.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management or related field; OR Associate degree in business, Supply Chain Management or related field with a minimum of 4 years supply chain management. OR A combination of a GED/ High School Equivalent with a minimum of 8 years supply chain management.

• 9. Prepares and reviews required outbound documentation and provides to customer.
• 10. Acts as a liaison on the operational/ infrastructure system requirements during set-up and implementation of Logistics solutions.
• 11. Support department supervisors and managers on any additional warehouse related tasks and all other duties as assigned.

Experience

• 1-3 years' supply chain, manufacturing experience preferably SAP, Logic, and MES experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to comply with strict cGMP's and other regulatory guidelines applicable to the medical/ pharmaceutical industry.

The expected base salary range for this position at hiring is $60,000- $75,000. Please note this salary range reflects the minimum and maximum base pay that CSL expects to pay for this position at the listed location as of the time of this posting. Individual base salary for a successful candidate is determined by qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies and other relevant factors. In addition to base salary, total compensation for this role may also include incentive compensation and equity.
