Job summary

Peyton Resource Group in Greensboro, NC is seeking a dependable Warehouse Specialist to support warehouse operations in the cable industry. You will receive, store, and ship inventory, and help maintain accurate records.

You will operate forklifts, pick, pack, label, and use WMS/ERP systems; maintain safety and organization; coordinate with teammates to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of warehouse experience preferred; cable/manufacturing or industrial distribution experience is a plus.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment; certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming cable products, reels, materials, and shipments and inspect for quality and quantity accuracy.
• Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment.
• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer and company requirements.
• Label, scan, and track inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems.
• Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas for cable reels, wire products, accessories, and related inventory.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
• Inspect cable products and materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Maintain shipping and receiving documentation and ensure records are accurate.
• Coordinate with supervisors and team members to meet shipping deadlines and customer expectations.
