Base pay range

$20.97/hr - $20.97/hr

Akima Support Operations (ASO) is currently seeking a Warehouse Specialist to Support the Eagle LSS Contract in Fort Cavazos, TX. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!

Responsibilities

  • The Warehouse Specialist conducts a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of U.S. Army's supply procedures and policies.
  • Verifies materials against receiving documents.
  • Notes and reports discrepancies and obvious damages.
  • Routes materials to prescribed storage locations.
  • Stores, stacks, or palletizes materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
  • Rearranges and takes inventory of stored materials.
  • Examines stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage.
  • Removes material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
  • Operates hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
  • Works both indoors and outdoors.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of relevant work experience in warehousing.
  • Knowledge of Army logistical functions.
  • Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
  • Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result and obtain/maintain a CAC.
  • High School Diploma / GED.
  • Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.

Desired Qualification

  • Current Driver's License.

Pay And Benefits

  • Hourly Compensation: $20.97.

Physical Demands

  • Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
