Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) is seeking a Warehouse Slotting Analyst to manage slotting projects using the Optislot tool and WMS reports to improve efficiency across the network.

You will coordinate with Opcos, identify slotting opportunities, analyze SKU data, run scenario tests, and present actionable recommendations to maximize throughput while upholding safety standards and ergonomic practices.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• High level of Microsoft Office proficiency.
• At least one year of industrial warehouse settings preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and powered industrial truck certification.
• Excellent organizational skills required.
• Ability to work in a high speed, production-based environment, able to follow all safety protocols.
• Ability to prioritize workload with ever changing priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, ability to read, write and understand instructions and computerized reports and labels in English; recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
• Ability to stand and walk 90% of the shift. Repeatedly required to squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend.
• Must be able to lift to 75 lbs. Ability to manually push/pull/move stacks of totes and product on skids weighing up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Independent management of slotting projects.
• Coordinate with warehouse operations team to identify slotting needs and opportunities.
• Compile and analyze Warehouse Management System (WMS) SKU data for accurate review of potential slotting opportunities.
• Conduct slotting scenario testing using the Optislot tool.
• Provide optimal slotting suggestions to the operations team that fit their needs and maximizes efficiency.
• Effectively communicate the results of the slotting analysis and how to execute the solution.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
