Job summary

ctus in Los Angeles is seeking a Warehouse Shop Technician to support AV equipment logistics. The role involves preparing, packing, labeling, and shipping items, plus coordinating with operations to resolve shortages.

The ideal candidate will be forklift certified, able to lift 50 pounds, and comfortable working independently in a 70,000+ square foot warehouse. Experience is helpful but not required, and accurate inventory entries are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and returns AV equipment.
• Packages and labels items for transportation or show requirements.
• Coordinate with operations to substitutions on shortages.
• Receive sub-rented items to fulfill orders.
• Create shipping manifests prior to shipping.
• Push equipment to docking stations for outbound delivery.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Restock delivered equipment in warehouse locations.
• Enter data into inventory system and report damaged items.
• Maintain records of maintenance and items sent to repair.

Job description

Title: Warehouse Shop Technician

Salary Range: $19 - $23 Per Hour

Job Responsibilities

• Prepares/returns AV equipment.
• Packages and labels items appropriately for transportation or based on show requirements.
• Works with operations to ensure proper substitutions on shortages.
• Receives sub-rented items into order to ensure fulfillment.
• Creates Shipping Manifest or Carnet prior to shipping.
• Responsible for pushing the equipment to various docking stations for outbound delivery.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Assists in restocking delivered equipment in various locations throughout the warehouse.
• Enters data into R2 (inventory) system.
• Documents service in inventory system and reports all damaged equipment to operations.
• Keeps detailed records of maintenance, QC, and items entered into repair.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience & Education

• Prior experience working in warehouse helpful but not required
• Certified to drive sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Positive Attitude and ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time in a 70,000+ square foot warehouse.
• Physical activities include using hand tools, bending, stooping, lifting, climbing stairs, carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.
