Job summary

AAA-USA Inc. is seeking a warehouse receiving supervisor to lead daily receiving operations at our Commack, NY location. You will coordinate team activities, manage accuracy of inbound shipments, and ensure proper documentation and labeling within the warehouse.

The role requires at least 2 years in warehouse receiving or inventory, with prior supervisory experience a plus. A strong eye for detail and effective communication with cross-department teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse receiving or inventory experience preferred.
• Previous team lead or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of receiving procedures, inventory control, and warehouse documentation.
• Experience using WMS and inventory software preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel and email.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily warehouse receiving activities to ensure shipments are processed accurately and on time.
• Assign tasks and prioritize workloads for receiving team members.
• Oversee unloading, inspection, counting, and verification of incoming shipments.
• Verify incoming products against POs, packing slips, bills of lading, and other receiving documents.
• Identify and report damaged, missing, incorrect, or excess merchandise.
• Ensure all received products are documented and entered into the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure items are labeled and identified.
• Coordinate with purchasing, inventory control, shipping, and other departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure products are moved to correct storage locations promptly.
• Monitor receiving productivity and communicate delays to management.
• Train and assist receiving team members with SOPs and safety practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving dock and work area.
• Ensure warehouse equipment is used safely and properly.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory investigations, and other warehouse duties.
