Job summary

Medical Diagnostic Laboratories, LLC is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to assist MDL Shipping/Receiving personnel with essential distribution tasks. This full-time role will handle shipments, deliveries, and tracking within a mail room/warehouse setting.

The position requires basic computer literacy, and the ideal candidate will have a High School/GED and up to 6 months of experience in mail processing or shipping/receiving. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Process all incoming and outgoing Express/Ground shipments using DHL shipping applications.
• Process all incoming deliveries using company software.
• Distribute deliveries to intended recipients promptly.
• Assemble, package and ship test supplies and documentation to clients and sales force.
• Maintain database of shipped items and standing orders for clients and sales force.
• Provide weekly shipment reports to management.
• Provide shipping/tracking updates to Sales Support Staff and operations leadership.
• File and maintain records for Shipping/Receiving operations.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Assist Mailroom Clerk with mail processing as workload dictates; back-up when needed.
• Provide/deliver inventory of copy/printer paper for MDL copiers/printers.
• Pick up and shred documents marked for shredding.
• Perform other similar duties as required.

Job Summary

Shipping / Receiving Clerk is responsible to assist full-time MDL Shipping/Receiving personnel with essential tasks related to distribution services.

Essential Functions

• Processes all incoming and outgoing Express/Ground specimens, letters and packages using online DHL shipping applications.
• Processes all incoming deliveries for MDL utilizing company-supplied software applications.
• Distributes all incoming deliveries to intended recipient in a timely manner.
• Assembles, packages and ships test supplies and documentation to clients and sales force as requested, including monthly standing orders.
• Maintains database of test supplies and documentation shipped to each client and to sales force, including monthly standing orders.
• Provides reporting to management regarding weekly shipments.
• Provides timely delivery tracking information to Sales Support Staff, Facility Manager and Director of Operations for all shipments.
• Properly files/maintains all records regarding Shipping/Receiving operations.
• Maintains a safe & clean work environment.
• Assists Mailroom Clerk with mail processing as workload dictates.
• Acts as back-up for Mailroom Clerk.
• Provides/delivers inventory of copy/printer paper for all MDL copiers and printers.
• Picks up and shreds company documents marked for shredding.
• Performs other similar or related duties as required or assigned.
