Job summary

Meyer Distributing is looking for a Shipping Processor to join our Hugo, MN team. The role focuses on pulling and processing Third Party Orders and preparing product for shipping via UPS, Fed Ex, LTL, and Meyer Logistics trucks.

Hourly rate starts at $21.00 with opportunities for increases. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm. Preferred candidates have warehouse or shipping experience and can operate equipment including forklift and manlift with basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Prior warehouse or shipping experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate equipment.
• Forklift and Manlift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull and process Third Party Orders.
• Scan product with handheld scanners.
• Verify and print correct labeling.
• Stage product for shipping for UPS/FedEx/LTL/truck shipments.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized at all times.
• Operate packing and banding equipment as needed.
• Ensure end-of-day shipping areas are clean.

Meyer Distributing is looking for a Shipping Processor to join our Hugo, MN team!

The Shipping Processor is responsible for pulling and processing Third Party Orders, including preparing product for shipping via UPS, Fed Ex, LTL, and occasionally our own Meyer Logistics trucks.

Hourly Rate for Shipping Processor:

• $21.00/hr with multiple opportunities for increases in pay

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Preferred Experience for Shipping Processor:

• EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• EXPERIENCE: Prior warehouse or shipping experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate equipment.
• Forklift and Manlift (Cherry Picker) experience preferred.

Shipping Processor duties include but are not limited to:

• Basic computer skills and knowledge of our WMS software
• Pull and process Third Party Orders
• Scans product using handheld scanners
• Verifies and prints correct labeling
• Places packing slips on product packages or on box
• Uses banding equipment on product if needed
• Stages product for shipping in proper location for UPS/Fed Ex/LTL/truck shipments
• Keeps warehouse and work area clean and organized at all times
• Wears protective toed shoes and works in a safe manner at all times
• Ensure Box machine and Shipping areas are clean and neat before leaving EOD
• All other duties as assigned

• Ability to give special attention to detail required. Must have ability to identify letters and numbers.
• Must be comfortable with computer to complete basic functions.
