Job summary

Responsibilities

• Manages all administrative logistical details for all outbound shipments processed by outside carriers and internal Fleet.
• Obtains quotes and selects vendors for freight and freight forwarding services.
• Coordinates with internal and external contacts on shipments.
• Investigates and resolves customers issues pertaining to shipping or paperwork.
• Examines, prepares and administers documents such as invoices, bills of lading and shipping statements.
• Ensures accuracy and integrity of shipments and packaging to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintains compliance with ITAR and other governmental regulations.
• Ships material by FedEx and UPS.
• Files all freight claims for damaged goods and tracks them weekly, resolving disputes.
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.

Job Function
