Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator for a weekend shift in Edwardsville, IL. You will assign tasks, coordinate shipping schedules with the CSR and supervisor, and manage the shipping area using FedEx/UPS systems.

The role requires at least 1–2 years of warehouse experience, basic Excel skills, and knowledge of warehouse equipment. A GED or high school diploma is required, with training in warehouse management systems preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with warehouse equipment is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Training on warehouse management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assigns order or dock task to the appropriate personnel.
• Coordinates with the CSR and Operations Supervisor to determine shipping schedules, labor requirements for rework projects, and cycle counts.
• Ships individual product orders using a Fed-Ex or UPS shipping system.
• Stocks and maintains shipping area with supplies and equipment.
• Ensures address labels are correct by verifying against pick ticket.

Requirements:

• Multiple warehouse management system training preferred
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
• Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
