Job summary

American Games in Council Bluffs, IA is hiring a Warehouse Shipping & Receiving associate to support our manufacturing operations. You will pick, pack, ship and receive materials, operate forklifts, ensure accurate documentation, and help maintain a safe, organized 5S workspace.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping or receiving in manufacturing or distribution.
• Experience operating forklifts, power pallet jacks, order pickers and RF scanning equipment.
• Forklift certification is preferred or can be obtained after hire.
• Able to work at heights up to 16 feet with warehouse equipment.
• Basic computer and inventory management skills.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Able to verify inventory, part numbers, quantities and shipping docs accurately.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick, scan, verify, package and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Receive, inspect, unload and verify incoming materials and shipments.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, pallet wrappers and other equipment safely.
• Load and unload trucks and ensure shipments are secured and documented.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with accuracy and replenishment.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report safety concerns.
• Support warehouse and logistics operations as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse following 5S.
• Complete shipping, receiving and inventory documentation.
• Meet daily productivity, quality and shipping deadlines with minimal errors.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.

What You'll Do

As a Warehouse Shipping & Receiving, you'll perform a variety of warehouse and logistics functions that support manufacturing operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control and material movement.

Additional Duties And Responsibilities Include

• Pick, scan, verify, package and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Receive, inspect, unload and verify incoming materials and shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, pallet wrappers and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

• Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory accuracy and material replenishment.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Support warehouse, production and logistics operations by assisting in multiple areas as business needs require.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse while following company safety standards and 5S principles.
• Complete shipping, receiving and inventory documentation accurately.
• Meet daily productivity, quality and shipping deadlines while minimizing errors.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance warehouse efficiency and workflow.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, values accuracy and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to internal and external customers.

• Two (2) to five (5) years of warehouse, logistics, shipping or receiving experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, power pallet jacks, order pickers and RF scanning equipment preferred.
• Forklift certification is preferred or the ability to become certified after hire.
• Comfortable working at heights of up to 16 feet using warehouse equipment.
