Silgan Plastics in Houston, Texas is hiring a Warehouse Associate to load and unload inbound/outbound shipments, and move products between docks, storage shelves, and production lines.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, stage items for orders, and maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse.

This on-site role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork; prior warehouse experience is helpful, and physical stamina is required.

• Loading and Unloading: Unloading inbound delivery trucks and loading outbound shipments using machinery or by hand.
• Transporting Goods: Moving products between the receiving dock, storage shelves, and production or packing lines.
• Inventory Tracking: Counting, weighing, and inspecting incoming goods, then recording the data into inventory management systems. Scan in all inventories to it's appropriate location.
• Staging and Organizing: Placing items in designated storage locations and wrapping or labeling goods for future orders.
• Equipment Operation: Driving and maintaining equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks
• Safety Maintenance: Following strict safety rules and keeping loading docks and aisles clear of debris
