Job summary

Optimal is seeking a Material Handler (Shipper) to accurately ship, count, verify, and weigh items against packing slips and bills of lading. The role supports warehouse operations by moving stock, preparing parcels, and recording distributions.

You will operate MHE, use WMS/ERP systems, and collaborate across departments. English fluency and basic arithmetic are required, with opportunities for cross-training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years of experience with WMS software.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to operate multiple types of MHE.
• Cross-trained in multiple departments.
• Basic MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Reads shipping schedules, orders, or work orders to determine items to move.
• Picks or conveys materials from receiving areas to storage or shipping areas.
• Sorts and stores items by size, type, style, or product code.
• Assembles customer orders and prepares parcels for shipping.
• Records quantities received or distributed using a computer.
