Summary

A Warehouser position is available at Milgard Windows and Doors in Portland, OR. The role involves gathering carts of windows, organizing items in the warehouse, and supporting overall warehouse operations. Milgard Windows & Doors is a leading manufacturer of windows and doors in the Western United States, with operations in Washington, Oregon, and California.

Responsibilities

1. Gather carts and properly place items in the warehouse.
2. Ensure loads are complete according to documentation and correctly assigned to delivery vehicles in proper order.
3. Secure loads to minimize damage and breakage.
4. Work collaboratively in a team environment.
5. Maintain proper stock levels according to route plans and locate missing products as needed.
6. Follow safety procedures outlined in the Illness & Injury Prevention Program and Employee Handbook.
7. Incorporate Milgard's vision and values into daily activities; motivate others to uphold the Milgard philosophy.
8. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience, especially in window manufacturing, preferred.
• Knowledge of glass handling is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Strong self-management and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
