Job summary

W.B. Mason is seeking a Warehouse Shift Leader in a full-time role in Connecticut. You will supervise a small team, oversee order preparation, inventory control, and loading trucks, while coordinating with multiple managers. Strong math, English communication, and a valid driver’s license are required.

You will ensure timely picking, packing, and assembly, print tickets, and train staff as needed. Lift 75+ lbs and promote safe, efficient operations daily.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3–5 people in preparing orders, moving inventory, and loading trucks accurately.
• Coordinate with warehouse manager, distribution manager, HR, and 3rd-shift staff.
• Oversee inventory picking, order packing, and furniture assembly.
• Print and separate tickets; ensure timely execution of tasks.
• Address concerns with management and resolve issues.
• Ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency of the team.
• Train staff as needed and handle other warehousing duties.

Job Type: This will be a full-time warehousing supervision position.

Pay: For this position, pay is: $78,000 - $90,000 annually

WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE:

• Leading a team of three to five people in preparing orders, moving inventory, and accurately loading trucks
• Communicating and collaborating with the warehouse manager, distribution manager, HR team, and 3rd-shift employees
• Overseeing timely inventory picking, order packing, and furniture assembly
• Printing and separating tickets
• Bringing concerns to management and resolving issues as they come up
• Ensuring team members work safely, promptly, and accurately
• Training staff as needed
• Tackling other warehousing responsibilities as needed

MUST-HAVES FOR OUR WAREHOUSE SHIFT LEADER:

• Physical ability to regularly lift and move 75+ lbs.
• Working knowledge of Pegasus and AX software
• Strong mathematical skills
• Valid, current driver's license
• Outstanding English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Time management and task prioritization abilities
