Job summary

W.B. Mason is seeking a capable full-time Warehouse Supervisor to lead a small team and ensure accurate, efficient warehousing operations.

You will supervise loading, inventory control, and packing, while maintaining safety and quality standards in our Connecticut facility. In this role you will train staff, coordinate with the warehouse manager, and communicate with shift teams and HR to resolve issues and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Has a current and valid driver’s license.
• Outstanding English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Working knowledge of Pegasus and AX software.
• Strong mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide your warehouse team in completing accurate, timely work while following safety procedures and industry regulations.
• Print and separate tickets.
• Oversee order picking and inventory packing and ensure trucks are loaded on time.
• Oversee accurate furniture assembly.
• Communicate and collaborate with the warehouse manager to address concerns and resolve issues.
• Train staff and help them improve.
• Communicate with 3rd-shift employees, the distribution manager, and HR staff.
• Handle other inventory and warehousing responsibilities as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING:

The Warehouse Supervisor leads a small team (three to five people) in loading up trucks, moving inventory, and keeping our day-to-day warehousing procedures smooth and efficient. As you oversee various responsibilities, you ensure your team completes accurate work. Here's a brief overview of your role:
