Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Shift Lead in Fort Wayne, IN. The role is full-time, with days/nights including weekends, and starting pay at 16.80 USD per hour.

You will lead a janitorial crew, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate shifts while supporting maintenance and operations teams. Responsibilities include supervising daily tasks, responding to escalations, and maintaining high standards in cleaning and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial operations and distribution center environment strongly preferred.
• 1+ years in a Lead/Supervisory role.
• Ability to follow OSHA requirements, safety guidelines, and forklift instructions.
• Customer service-oriented, friendly demeanor to motivate team and assist customers.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and chemical data sheets (English; may include Spanish).
• KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software used for attendance and training.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in a complex task-oriented janitorial operation environment.
• Provide direct support to maintenance operations and field teams with escalations.
• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairs, breakrooms as needed.
• Follow the Supervisor Task Process Flowchart and schedule coverage daily shifts.
• Deliver timely escalation reports to management.
• Support callouts and allocate shifts among team and shift lead.
