Job summary

Netrush is seeking a Shift Lead to support the management team in ensuring safety, quality, morale and productivity for a team of 5–20 warehouse associates. This leadership role covers receipt, storage, value-added services and shipping across a broad product range.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of warehouse experience (ecommerce preferred), strong administrative and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate across functions to drive efficient shift coverage and training.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a warehouse; ecommerce preferred.
• Strong administrative, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate across functions and synthesize multiple viewpoints into a streamlined action plan.
• Experience with picking and packing both direct-to-consumer and business-to-business orders.
• Experience operating within multiple warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse workers and delegate tasks.
• Adhere to safety and legal procedures and manage the inventory.
• Manage inventory; include receipt, pick, pack, ship and return of product.
• Supervise shift allocations and ensure staff efficiency.
• Organize training for staff and ensure proper functioning of tools and equipment.
• Communicate safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics to senior leaders.

Job Summary

The Shift Lead will assist the management team in ensuring the safety quality morale and productivity of a team of 5 20 warehouse associates This leadership role will oversee the accurate and timely receipt storage value adding servicing and shipping of a wide variety of products

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in supervising the functions and working of the warehouse workersDelegating and assigning tasks and targets and evaluating the working of the staff Adhering to the compliance of all legal and safety procedures Managing the inventory; work areas include receipt pick pack ship and return of product Assist in supervising proper shift allocations and ensuring efficiency of all warehouse staff Organizing and conducting necessary training activities for the staff and workers Ensuring the proper functioning of all warehouse tools and equipment Effective communication of all safety quality delivery and cost metrics to senior leaders

Skills & Qualifications

3 years of experience in a warehouse; ecommerce preferred Strong administrative organizational and communication skills Senior presence with thoughtful articulate communication style Able to work collaboratively across functions and synthesize multiple points of view into a streamlined action plan Adept at communicating up and down and at pivoting approach depending on the audiences needs Experience with picking and packing both direct to consumer and business to business orders Experience operating within multiple warehouse management systems

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 30 pounds repetitively and more than 50 pounds with a two person lift as needed Able to standwalk up to 10 hours with scheduled breaks Ability to work in an environment that includes climbing stairs bending twisting stepping stooping reaching lifting and pushing on a frequent basis

Schedule

All Shift Leads are expected to remain open for any shift change as business needs dictate to include overtime availability
