Responsibilities

1. Prepare all jobs, ensuring all materials are available, and that windows and doors meet quality standards with necessary extras (grids, tempered glass, etc.) before dispatch.
2. Organize all materials—structural mulls, interior trim, PT lumber, brickmould—and cut as needed prior to job assignment.
3. Assist with ordering miscellaneous materials for installers and service technicians, sourcing cost-effective options.
4. Participate in monthly inventory counts and safeguard all inventory and supplies.
5. Receive, verify, and report any discrepancies in materials.
6. Set up and dismantle displays at events, and rent trucks as needed.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and outside areas.
8. Pick up and deliver materials to job sites as required.
9. Perform caps and covers on jobs if necessary.
10. Verify packaging and contents for conformance to specifications.
11. Compare items packed with customer orders and identify data.
12. Review delivery schedules to determine delivery order.
13. Determine loading and securing methods based on product and schedule.
14. Load and secure products onto vehicles, scan labels for documentation, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Physical Demands

The physical demands include constant standing (up to 12 hours), frequent walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting (up to 90 lbs.), and repetitive movements. The work environment involves manufacturing facilities and outdoor areas.
