JOB SUMMARY

This position serves our customers by hand-building pallets of products and loading products onto trailers according to established company and customer standards.

• Pay rate: Up to $26.60 per hour
• Production incentives for meeting metrics
• Flexible schedule preferred
• Day Shift: Starts at 7AM, Sunday-Friday
• 4-day work week, Sunday-Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners) safely to select, pull, sort, and stack product weighing about 45 lbs.
• Work in freezer and dry environments (gear provided)
• Handle products following food safety procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the warehouse
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma/GED/equivalent

Experience: 6 months warehouse experience preferred; physical work experience acceptable

Skills: Knowledge of safe lifting and food safety, ability to build pallets quickly and accurately, operate forklift/pallet jack, meet productivity standards, communicate effectively, perform basic math, carry out instructions, wear PPE

Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50-90 pounds, stand, walk, handle objects, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and hear; vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustments

Work Environment: Exposure to hot, cold, humid conditions, moving parts, high places, fumes, loud noise; accommodations available for disabilities
