Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Distribution is seeking a Warehouse Selector for its warehousing operations. You will pick orders, load pallets, wrap finished orders and prepare shipments for delivery to Publix stores, using warehouse tech to locate items and verify accuracy.

Your earnings depend on pace and accuracy, with a physically demanding schedule that includes standing, lifting, and long shifts. A comprehensive benefits package supports your health, savings, and family needs.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be able to:
• Work a rotating schedule which includes some weekends and holidays.
• Work fluctuating shifts, when needed.
• Select, lift, carry, and stack product weighing.
• 67 pounds for high velocity and low velocity.
• Stand, bend, stoop, twist, and do repetitive work for long periods of time.
• Operate a pallet truck or forklift without any part of the body exposed outside of the operator compartment.
• Obtain certification in pallet truck and forklift operations (on or before their start date in the position).
• Perform job duties efficiently, accurately, and safely.
• Read, write, and identify and verify numbers.
• Interpret, understand, and follow instructions and
• Pass a Physical Agility Test (before the start date in the position), as applicable.

• Our Warehouse Selectors are instrumental in helping keep our shelves stocked in our more than 1,200 store locations.
