Duties/Responsibilities

You determine how much you earn as a Warehouse Selector. The more orders you complete safely and efficiently, the more money you earn each week! The average Publix Selector performs at a rate greater than 100%, which means you can earn above standard pay. Selectors are rewarded for working efficiently and accurately.

If you enjoy physical activity, this job doubles as a workout. Selectors are constantly walking, lifting, bending, and stretching. They pull products ordered by stores, place them onto pallets, wrap the orders, and prepare them for delivery. Using advanced technology, Selectors are guided to locate products quickly, helping keep our shelves stocked across over 1,200 store locations.

What we’re looking for

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be able to:
  • Work a rotating schedule including some weekends and holidays
  • Work fluctuating shifts as needed
  • Select, lift, carry, and stack products weighing 67 to 85 pounds
  • Stand, bend, and do repetitive work for long periods
  • Operate a pallet truck or forklift safely within the operator compartment
  • Perform duties efficiently, accurately, and safely
  • Read, write, and verify numbers
  • Follow instructions effectively
  • Pass a Physical Agility Test, if applicable
  • Current Jacksonville Distribution associate preferred
