Responsibilities

• Warehouse selectors are responsible for operating a pallet jack, labeling and palletizing products in order to fill customer orders. Selectors must work efficiently and in a safe manner. This position requires working in areas with temperature and humidity changes based on local weather conditions, and the area in which the selector is working (Dairy/Produce, Meat/Frozen, Grocery).

As a Warehouse Selector, you:

• Must work in a safe manner adhering to all company safety guidelines.
• Must be able to reach, lift, and stack cases ranging in weight from 1-100 lbs from floor to overhead.
• Appropriately label selected products and apply header labels to finish pallets to prep for shipment.
• Must maintain quality standards of accuracy, stacking, and pallet conditions.
• Stack merchandise on pallets in a manner that prevents damage while selecting orders, loading, or delivering products.
• WILL TRAIN to operate electric pallet jacks in a safe manner to ensure the safety of yourself and co-workers.
• Must be able to walk and guide the jack from slot to slot during the selection process.
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends (REQUIRED per your schedule).
• Must be able to maintain production standards.

On average, warehouse selectors lift 20,000 - 40,000 lbs PER SHIFT.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 6 months experience in a similar environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screening, Background Check, Physical Abilities Test).
• Stable work history.
