Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution (QCD) is a fast-growing last-mile logistics provider serving thousands of restaurants across the United States. This Orlando-based role supports multi-temperature warehousing, safety, and accuracy in a dynamic team environment.

You will operate material handling equipment, pick and pack orders, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. A strong team orientation and comfort with temperature-controlled settings are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and teamwork while maintaining safety standards.
• Experience with warehouse management systems or handheld scanners is preferred.
• Forklift certification and ability to operate material handling equipment safely are valued.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required).
• Inspect shipments and verify order accuracy and product quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and use RF scanners to track orders and inventory.
• Follow FEFO procedures for food products and use voice-directed picking system to select orders.

Warehouse Associate (Selector) – Orlando

What You’ll Do:

You’ll be a key player in our warehouse team, helping to move, manage, and deliver products efficiently and safely. Whether you’re loading trailers, picking orders, or leading associates, you’ll work in a fast-paced, multi-temperature environment, focused on accuracy, teamwork, and safety. Your efforts keep our supply chain flowing smoothly — from receiving goods, staging inventory, to shipping orders out on time.

All Associates:

In This Role You’ll:

• Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift)
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards
• Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory
• Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols

Selector (Picker) Specific:

• Use handheld scanners to pick and pack customer orders accurately
• Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy
• Follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food products

What You’ll Bring

All Associates:

• Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred

Selector (Picker) Specific:

• Valid forklift certification and 6+ months of safe equipment operation
• Strong reading/math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation
• Use a voice-directed picking system (VolCollect headset) to accurately select and prepare customer orders

Schedule & Setting:

• Shift start time:5AM or 6PM (MUST be open to either shift)
• Full-time, on-site in a temperature-controlled warehouse (dry, cooler freezer:-5°F to 38°F)
• Primarily a 4-day work week,
• Physically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods

Pay & Benefits:

• $20.85/hour
• Weekly pay(every Friday)
