Job summary

Western New York Integrated Care Collaborative, Inc. is seeking a second-shift warehouse associate in Cheektowaga, NY to pick, pack, and load products for delivery trucks using forklifts, stock pickers, and scanners.

You will assemble orders, inspect equipment, and maintain safe operations in a busy distribution center environment, with OSHA compliance and shift-end duties such as charging equipment and cleaning the facility.

Qualifications

• Read customer orders to determine items to pick and load.
• Assemble orders from stock and place on pallets for trucks.
• Load products onto trucks in the required sequence.
• Ensure products are not damaged and easy to sort on delivery.
• Perform equipment inspections and log sheets at shift start.
• Follow OSHA and safety standards and report violations.

• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets to be loaded on delivery trucks, using scanners/technology.
• Load product on trucks as required in predetermined order.

• Perform equipment inspections and complete log sheets at the beginning of every shift.
• Clean distribution center and plug all necessary equipment into charging stations at the end of every shift.
• Follow OSHA and safety standards, report violations to direct supervisor (DC Supervisor - 2nd shift).

Description

Pick, pack and load product from the distribution center to delivery trucks, manually or with forklifts, high lifts, order pickers, dollies, or hand trucks. Work second shift hours which include varying start and end times.

Pay Rate is from $ 19.01 to $20.37 per hour

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus


• Work is performed in a secured distribution center environment with moderate to high level noise


• Can be stressful and may have stringent deadlines to meet - employees are expected to maintain certain levels of productivity and accuracy
