Schedule:

1. First 6 weeks of training: Monday – Friday, 8-hour days

2. Post-training shift options:

   • Wednesdays and Thursdays OFF; work Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Friday

   • Tuesday and Thursday OFF; work Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

3. Start time: 2:00 PM

4. Hours: 10-12 hours/day, 50-60 hours/week (post-training)

5. Overtime as needed

Starting pay: $28.00/hour + Incentive pay and overtime

US Foods is one of the largest food distributors, known for promoting from within, excellent training programs, and continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities:

• Safely and accurately select customer orders, build and wrap pallets to meet productivity and accuracy standards
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and operate electric pallet jacks safely
• Move products from racks to pallets using software and equipment
• Validate correct and damage-free products
• Deliver products to the correct dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders
• Maintain a clean work environment, clear aisles, and return equipment to charging areas

Physical Requirements:

• Work comfortably in environments ranging from -5°F to over 100°F
• Lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs repeatedly; move over 1,000 cases per shift

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and communicate in English for training, safety, and operational purposes
• Availability for 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday, with possible weekends and holidays
• Recent experience in physically demanding roles preferred
• Experience with large-scale order selection and operating motorized pallet jacks preferred

Compensation varies based on experience, skills, location, and other factors. The base pay range is $28.00 to $33.86 per hour, with additional overtime and incentive pay based on productivity and quality.
