Job summary

US FOODS® Night Warehouse Selectors start at $20.43 per hour and incentive pay, with benefits starting day one. You will be responsible for preparing customer orders, ensuring accuracy and safety, and supporting a culture of teamwork and reliability in a fast-paced night environment.

Must be able to read and communicate in English and work 8+ hour night shifts, Sunday to Thursday, with occasional weekends and holidays. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, including pallet jack operation.

Main Ingredients of the Job

As a US FOODS® Night Warehouse Selector you will be responsible for preparing customer orders that grow our business, instilling and reinforcing safety above all else. We TEAM UP to deliver exact and damage-free orders. Your efforts as a Night Warehouse Selecto r are the foundation that defines US FOODS® success based on our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service.

What You Bring to the Table

Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed

Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday - Thursday.

At times weekends and holidays will be required

Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred

Lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.

Experience selecting large-scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred

Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred

Physical Requirements

Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required

Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift required

Compensation

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is $20.43 per hour.

As applicable, this role may also receive: overtime compensation, incentive compensation based on productivity and quality, and Freezer premium.
