United Natural Foods, Inc. in Chesterfield, NH is hosting a Wednesday Hiring Event from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The address is 71 Stow DR, Chesterfield, NH, where you can tour the warehouse and interview for open roles.

Schedule includes a 5-day work week with 9:00 AM start and shifts averaging 10–12 hours, with overtime. Starting pay is $22.75/hour, plus a $1.50 productivity increase, $2.00 extra for weekend shifts, and another $2.00 for applicable freezer environments.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Lifts boxes weighing 20–65 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Identify the pick locations and safely pick the items.
• Inspect assigned equipment for safety issues.
• Pick the correct item and quantity, checking UPCs or item descriptions.
• Place labels on the side of the cases.
• Shrink wrap and label with correct truck, stop and other required information.
• Stage pallets in appropriate bay and build a stable pallet.
• Operate pallet jack/pushcart safely and efficiently.
• Good judgment may be required when direct supervision is not available.

Schedule

Pay

• Starting wage is $22.75/hour with a pay increase of $1.50 upon hitting productivity
• Case bonus incentive
• $2.00/hr extra for weekend shift
• $2.00/ for freezer environment (if applicable)
• Set pay increases- $1.00/hour increase after 1 year. $1.50 increase after 2 years

Position Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Warehouse experience is preferred but not required
• Lifting boxes weighing from less than 20 to 65lbs consistently throughout the shift.
• Occasionally pushing, reaching, pulling, and gripping
• Must have the ability to work in various temperatures

Physical Environment/ Demands

• Exposed to temperatures ranging from -20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Perishable Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Grocery Operation
• Ability to do repetitive arm, wrist, and hand movements required.
• Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.
• Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties. Ability to operate work related equipment.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
