Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately, consistently, and safely follow directions involving selecting product from a pick ticket in a refrigerated/frozen warehouse environment.
- Operate forklift, electric pallet jack, and any additional equipment as needed.
- Identify and select cases of product from inventory locations accurately.
- Pick, palletize, wrap, and scan orders using FIFO (First in First Out).
- Hand stack product in a specific sequence and location on a pallet for shipment.
- Maintain product integrity through proper handling and storage.
- Return undelivered or mis-picked product to their proper inventory locations.
- Transport product from storage to the designated shipping area within expected time.
- Follow all safety rules and maintain a safe working environment.
- Observe safe product handling techniques.
- Cooperate with supervisors and peers.
- Follow company's attendance policy by arriving on time and completing shifts based on business needs.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on MHE.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance duties as directed by the warehouse supervisor.
- Perform various other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Work schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 5 PM until finish; available for extended hours, extra shifts, and holidays.
- Proficient in reading, writing, communicating, and understanding English to perform job tasks.
- Experience in a warehouse environment operating powered equipment like electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Familiar with CK31 & CK71 scanners is a plus.
- MHE and SQF certification preferred.
- Ability to work in refrigerated and frozen environments (0 to 36 degrees).
- Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, twist, lift (up to 100 pounds), push, and pull throughout the shift.
