Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Accurately, consistently, and safely follow directions involving selecting product from a pick ticket in a refrigerated/frozen warehouse environment.
2. Operate forklift, electric pallet jack, and any additional equipment as needed.
3. Identify and select cases of product from inventory locations accurately.
4. Pick, palletize, wrap, and scan orders using FIFO (First in First Out).
5. Hand stack product in a specific sequence and location on a pallet for shipment.
6. Maintain product integrity through proper handling and storage.
7. Return undelivered or mis-picked product to their proper inventory locations.
8. Transport product from storage to the designated shipping area within expected time.
9. Follow all safety rules and maintain a safe working environment.
10. Observe safe product handling techniques.
11. Cooperate with supervisors and peers.
12. Follow company's attendance policy by arriving on time and completing shifts based on business needs.
13. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on MHE.
14. Perform cleaning and maintenance duties as directed by the warehouse supervisor.
15. Perform various other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Work schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 5 PM until finish; available for extended hours, extra shifts, and holidays.
• Proficient in reading, writing, communicating, and understanding English to perform job tasks.
• Experience in a warehouse environment operating powered equipment like electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Familiar with CK31 & CK71 scanners is a plus.
• MHE and SQF certification preferred.
• Ability to work in refrigerated and frozen environments (0 to 36 degrees).
• Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, twist, lift (up to 100 pounds), push, and pull throughout the shift.
