Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking a Security and Surveillance Officer to safeguard warehouse personnel, inventory, and assets. Responsibilities include monitoring CCTV, patrolling, enforcing access policies, and coordinating with law enforcement on incidents.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year security experience, a valid guard license, and strong English communications. The role requires vigilance, proper incident reporting, and adherence to OSHA standards within a distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Requires valid security guard license or certification.
• Preferred: 1+ years in security, law enforcement, or loss prevention in distribution/warehouse/logistics.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and industry security regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access points to detect suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular security patrols inside and around the warehouse, ensuring doors and entry points are secure.
• Enforce badge access policies, visitor check-ins, and contractor screening procedures.
• Investigate and report unauthorized access, security breaches, or safety concerns.
• Observe and deter theft, vandalism, and fraudulent activities within the facility.
• Assist in inventory audits, shrinkage investigations, and cargo security monitoring.
• Report and document missing, damaged, or stolen goods to the Security Supervisor.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders during critical situations.
• Ensure compliance with company security policies, OSHA regulations, and industry standards.
