Job summary

The Warehouse Security Officer position at Security Management Innovation is responsible for safeguarding assets and personnel during non-business hours through patrolling, monitoring systems, and quick alarm responses.

You will investigate incidents, document findings, and manage access control to prevent unauthorized entry, while deter­ring theft and supporting emergency procedures. Strong observation and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have strong physical stamina and be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and observation skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular foot patrols of the warehouse interior and exterior, inspecting for signs of unauthorized access, vandalism, or suspicious activity.
• Monitor security cameras and alarm systems, responding to alerts promptly and taking appropriate action.
• Investigate security incidents, gather evidence, and prepare detailed incident reports.
• Control access to the warehouse, ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
• Deter theft and vandalism by maintaining a visible security presence.
• Assist with emergency response procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date security logs and records.
