Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Warehouse Asset Protection Officer to manage security at our distribution center, including access control at the security desk and yard gate house, CCTV surveillance, and coordination with emergency responders when needed.

Responsibilities include authorizing access, verifying shipments, and conducting inspections to deter theft, with a focus on maintaining secure facilities and accurate logs. This role is part-time and on-site in Buford, GA.

Qualifications

• Able to stand, sit and walk for long periods.
• Security experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Authorize access for employees, visitors, contractors and carriers to the facility or yard.
• Verify and process inbound and outbound shipments.
• Conduct inspections to deter theft of staff, visitors and contractors.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
• Conduct CCTV tours and yard inspections; respond to emergencies.
