Job summary

Best Buy in Curtis Bay, MD is seeking a part-time Warehouse Asset Protection Officer to oversee access control at the security desk and yard gate, monitor CCTV, and coordinate with emergency responders as needed.

You will verify shipments, inspect personnel and vehicles, and maintain asset protection records while supporting a safe and secure distribution center environment. A forklift certification is preferred and security experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Able to stand, sit and walk for long periods of time.
• Security experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Authorize employees, visitors, contractors and carriers to access the facility or yard.
• Monitor CCTV and conduct yard inspections to deter theft.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments and maintain logs.
• Answer phone calls and document shift and incident reports.
• Coordinate with first responders when needed.
