Job summary

Allied Universal's Security Officer Warehouse Screening Assessor in Hagerstown, MD is a full-time role focused on protecting people and property at a logistics/distribution site while delivering excellent customer service.

You will screen individuals and shipments, monitor access points, report security concerns, and conduct routine and random patrols to maintain a secure environment. A Guard Card and HS diploma are preferred; background checks and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and shipments entering or leaving the location per site procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and documentation, report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and communicate observations to site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas and perimeter.
