Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a warehouse associate in New Jersey. You will support inbound shipments, manage the online appointment schedule, and help ensure efficient flow of merchandise through receiving.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 30 lbs (up to 50 lbs with assistance) and to work in a warehouse environment. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs without assistance and up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Warehouse environment includes heat, cold, noise, and dust.
• When needed, operate powered equipment for up to 8 hours per day.
• When needed, standing, bending, lifting for up to 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Support scheduling distribution center inbound shipments and manage the online appointment schedule.
• Register inbound trailers and reconcile receipts to bills of lading, filing and maintaining receipts.
• Communicate with Home Office, vendors, carriers, and drivers; respond to phone calls, emails, and faxes; support workload balance within the Warehouse Management System.
