Quirch Foods, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Scanner (Night Shift) in Hammond, LA. You will accurately pick from pick tickets using RF scanners, organize and export products, and ensure FIFO shipment readiness.

The role requires handling up to 100 pounds, working in cold environments, and staying punctual. Training on CK31/CK71 is a plus; related duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English.
• Experience operating hand-held scanners and forklifts.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds and stand/walk all day.
• Able to work in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow pick tickets accurately and safely.
• Use an RF scanner to input, organize, and export products.
• Identify and pick cases from inventory locations.
• Pile, wrap, and scan orders using FIFO.
• Hand stack products on pallets for shipment.
• Return undelivered product to inventory locations.
• Perform cleaning/maintenance duties as directed by supervisor.
• Observe safe product handling techniques.
• Coordinate with supervisors and peers.
• Be punctual and consistently available for work.
• Other duties as assigned.
