Job summary

Quirch Foods, LLC in Hammond, LA is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Picker to accurately pick items from pick tickets, use RF scanners, and prepare orders for shipment. You will palletize, wrap, and scan goods, following FIFO to maintain inventory integrity and ensure safe handling throughout the process.

Operates forklifts with training, maintains productivity, and collaborates with team members to meet daily fulfillment targets.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English well enough to perform tasks and communicate with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Follow pick tickets accurately and safely.
• Use RF scanner to input, organize, and export products in the warehouse.
• Identify and pick cases from inventory locations; palletize, wrap and scan orders using FIFO.
• Hand stack products in the correct sequence on pallets for shipment.
• Return undelivered products to proper inventory locations.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties as directed by the supervisor.
• Observe safe handling techniques and cooperate with supervisors and peers.
• Be punctual and reliable for work and perform other duties as assigned.
