Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution Services LLC (QCD) seeks a Sanitor for our Boston location to join the warehouse cleaning team. You will follow a fixed cleaning schedule and perform a range of janitorial duties to meet QCD and customer standards for appearance, cleanliness, and safety.

The role requires ability to work in varying temperatures, strong attention to detail, and teamwork. Weekly pay and benefits are provided after 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning equipment and assist with basic facility tasks.

Established in 2006, Quality Custom Distribution Services LLC (QCD), a subsidiary of GSF, is a custom last-mile distribution company specializing in tailored solutions for selected food service Industry customers. Headquartered in Frisco, Texas, QCD services thousands of restaurants throughout the United States. Providing over 37,000 deliveries a week from 25 strategically located distribution centers, the QCD fleet averages more than 40 million miles driven per year. QCD associates also help run a national non-profit, the GSF Foundation.

Sanitor – Boston

What You’ll Do:

You’ll be a key player in our warehouse team, will be following an established cleaning schedule, perform a variety of janitorial duties to maintain distribution center building and grounds to meet QCD and customers standards for appearance, cleanliness and safety.

In This Role You’ll:

• Organize and stock supply cabinets for the break room, restrooms, and locker rooms
• Collect waste material for both recycling and disposal
• Maintain cleanliness of break room standards
• maintain cleanliness of leaker boards in both the dry and chill areas
• Keep warehouse floor clean, using both manual and electric-powered equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of parking lot, shipping/receiving docks, and fence line
• In support of the above functions, may be assigned basic tasks related to facility maintenance
• Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary

What You’ll Bring

• Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety
• Sanitation and janitorial concepts and techniques
• Identify problems or irregularities for early resolution
• Work effectively in a general business environment, with focus on high level of quality and customer service
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to safely operate electric ride pallet jack and floor scrubber
• Ability to pass forklift certification process

Schedule & Setting:

• Full Time on-site in a temperature-controlled warehouse ( freezer: -5°F to 38°F)
• Shift: Primarily a 5-day schedule starting at 4:30pm - 1:00am
• Weekend and holiday availability required
• Physically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50+ lbs and standing/walking for extended periods

Pay & Benefits:

• Pay: $23.00/hr.
• Weekly pay (every Friday)
