Job summary

Martin Bros Distributing is seeking a dependable Warehouse Sanitation employee to maintain a clean and compliant warehouse facility and support daily operations. The role covers cleaning, sanitation, and adhering to established schedules and standards.

Typical shifts run Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates should be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and prior warehouse sanitation or custodial experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Description

Martin Bros Distributing is currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Sanitation employee to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our warehouse facility while supporting daily warehouse operations.

This position works Tuesday - Saturday from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (end time may vary; overtime/holidays when required).

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all areas of the warehouse according to established daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Follow all ASI, HACCP, and company sanitation standards and procedures.
• Serve as the primary custodian for the warehouse facility.
• Stack pallets, recycle and bale cardboard and plastic materials.
• Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements

Skills & Requirements:

• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous warehouse, sanitation or custodial experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment
• Ability to stand and walk and lift for up to 8.5 hours per shift
• Ability to work in all areas of the warehouse environment including dry, produce/refrigerated, and freezer.
• Upon offer, successfully pass all pre-employment screenings prior to start date.
