United States Cold Storage Inc. is hiring a full-time janitorial associate to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in our facilities in Wilmington, IL.

The role emphasizes safety and reliability, with responsibilities including regular cleaning of kitchens, restrooms, offices, and common areas, plus floor care and waste management. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent; janitorial experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience: previous janitorial experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall cleanliness and sanitation of assigned work area.
• Keeps individual and facility safety at the forefront of their sanitation responsibilities.
• Assigned cleaning areas could consist of the kitchen, bathrooms, office, breakrooms, locker rooms, etc.
• Cleaning tasks could consist of, but are not limited to, dusting, scrubbing and cleaning restrooms, wiping down tables and countertops, and overall tidiness of the area.
• Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing and buffing machines.
• Clean respected area using ladders, moving furniture, boxes, and equipment as needed.
• Empty trash cans.
