Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Temporary Sanitation Associate in Phoenix, AZ to maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment. The role offers weekly pay and a daytime schedule (Mon-Fri, 9:00 am–5:00 pm) with hourly compensation of $17.00.

You will help keep restrooms, break rooms, and work areas sanitary and orderly, supporting overall distribution operations across the US. The position requires reading codes, good communication, teamwork, and flexibility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One year or more previous warehouse experience preferred.
May require equipment certification depending on location.
Ability to read location, date and product codes.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build professional relationships at all levels.
Capable of working independently or in a team and staying flexible.

Responsibilities

Clean restrooms, break room, locker room, and office areas per sanitation schedule.
Clean exterior areas including windows and walkways; empty trash as per schedule.
Sweep and scrub warehouse floors and office areas per sanitation schedule.
Wipe down racks, guard rails, and walls per sanitation schedule.
Perform additional duties as assigned; overtime as needed.
Maintain a safe, clean, and tour-ready facility; assist with light maintenance.
